Trajaan Raises a $1m Seed Round

With tremendous support from our investors, we have been able to close a seed round of $1m in January 2023. We feel amazing, we cannot be more inspired to keep building a game-changing Search Listening SaaS in the Martech industry.

Re-inventing search analytics

Trajaan is on a mission to re-invent search data analytics. For too long, search analytics have been contained to search engine optimization (SEO) or advertising (SEA). Search insights were only considered to enhance strategic planning before building websites or new content. Without taking into consideration the full potential of search insights for making business decisions.

Search engines are a goldmine for consumer insights, with tons of data about consumer expectations and purchase intentions. Check out these numbers:

  • 100% of search queries are geolocalized, at both national and city scales.
  • 83% of consumer journeys start with an online search
  • 74% of search queries contain more than 3 words

  • Matthieu Danielou: ex-Lead Product Manager at Botify & Synthesio: expertise in marketing product such as social listening
  • Hugo Duportet: ex-Lead Data Scientist at Synthesio (Ipsos) : expertise in data around consumers in marketing services to launch the most suitable products for the clients needs
  • Guillaume Banc: ex-Senior Manager at KPMG Advisory in Financial Services, wide ranging knowledge about the market and running a business. Expertise in operational knowledge to structure and direct the task force.

We have designed the first SaaS platform providing search listening solutions to global brands & retailers willing to succeed in creating new offers consumers are looking for.

Our AI technology analyses millions of data points from search engines in real-time (Google, Amazon, Baidu, Algolia …), to detect all the latest market trends and make go-to-market recommendations like emerging markets to invest, stock levels to adjust, new territories where to expand and topics to cover in campaigns.
